Basic photography training for family photos
This photography training course is targeted at people who haven’t touched a camera in some time and want to learn a little bit of information on what digital cameras are, and how to make the most out of them.
We cover training on Point and shoot cameras as well as SLR (d) cameras, the limitations of digital cameras and how to carry out some basic photographic editing on your computer or laptop.
Course Structure
The course is a mixture of media and information. We will send you over some information, which is general reading material, which should point you in the right direction as a start.
The next step is about buying a camera if you don’t already have one, how they work what they do and what the different modes do etc..and what a camera cant do. so this is the technical part.
Your next part is a technical assessment of your photo’s, this will show where your going right and wrong, this is call a critique. You then take what we say and try again.
There is then some videos to watch and learn from. This will give you an insight to professional photography and image taking.
You will again try out your photography skills and see how you get on.
The final part of the course is a hands on day shoot and review with one of our photographers, you can ask questions and have them answered over the 6 hour time period and we will review your images as we go.

“I have to say looks as if you have captured the actual substance of the state of affairs close at hand. While others seem to have obscured the crucial point of it, when you expressed above is enlightened in addition to being on the nose; all the same, I must say you did rendered me reason to ponder several of the main ideas that I conceived and entertained as unyielding beliefs in that regards, and time for someone like myself to ponder a wee bit more on a couple of your major items. I would have to say I must compliment you for you have done an excellent job.”
Thanks for publishing about this. There’s a heap of good tech info on the internet. You’ve got a lot of that info here on your site. I’m impressed – I try to keep a couple blogs reasonably up-to-date, but it’s a struggle sometimes. You’ve done a big job with this one. How do you do it?
There is a lot more to go on this photography training website as I will go through a whole range of subjects, it is a struggle as there is a lot of areas and also with photo shoots and other commitments with other websites, its a long day of around 18 hours!
at the moment the training website is not a major ‘thing’ to push through as it is a back end of the photography businesses and directory’s that I run through National photographer http://www.nationalphotographer.co.uk/
But I will try to keep this site more up to date as the last update on this website was in 2006, and I hope that the new format will allow people interested in photography to learn more.
